How to identify common CNC machines

introductions Six common CNC Milling Machines

There are several types of CNC Milling Machines:

Vertical CNC Milling Machine

The axis of rotation of the CNC vertical milling machine is perpendicular to the horizontal plane. This is the most common form of CNC milling setup and has the widest range of uses. Usually used in medium-sized CNC milling machines.

Horizontal CNC Milling Machine

The CNC horizontal milling machine is the same as the general horizontal milling machine. The spindle axis is parallel to the horizontal plane. It is common in mid-sized CNC milling machines.

Vertical and Horizontal CNC Milling Machine

As you can imagine, this machine combines the functions of the previous two machines. The spindle position of a vertical and horizontal CNC milling machine is different. There is no doubt that  it will be possible for you to do vertical and horizontal machining  in a single machine.

Economical CNC Milling Machines

These CNC milling machines are modified on the basis of classic milling machines. They adopt economical CNC systems with lower cost, fewer machine tool features, lower spindle speed and feed rate, and are mainly used for low precision requirements, flat, straight or curved parts.

Fully functional CNC Milling Machine

These machines usually use a semi-closed ring or a closed ring. The control system is complex and can often contain four or more connections. It is certain that they have the best and most widely used solution.

High-speed CNC Milling Machine

This special machine has a spindle speed of 8000~40 000 r/min and a feed speed of 10~30m/min. What a amazing machine it is! Everything has a reason for its existence. It is amazing to find that it adopts a new machine tool structure (main structure and material changes) ,not only the functional components (electric spindle, linear motor drive Feed) but also the powerful CNC system, coupled with a tool system with superior processing performance. It is the powerful feature of it, that can you process large-area curved surfaces with high efficiency and high quality.
